Leader: Come and kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.
All: From His glorious riches He may strengthen us with power through His Spirit so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith.
Leader: And being rooted and established in love, together with all the Lordโs holy people,
All: may we grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ
Leader: The Lord be with you.
All: And with your spirit.
Leader: Let us worship God!

Confession of Sin
Holy Father, loving God of grace and truth,
We deserve Your wrath for our ungodliness
and suppression of the truth.
Merciful Savior, do not remove from us Your restraining grace.
If You do, we will continue to deny and disgrace the truth.
We will deny You, dishonor You, live ungratefully, and plunge into foolish thinking and living.
We will pay homage to our worthless idols instead of worshiping You. We will fall into unrighteousness and evil, displaying covetous, malicious, and envious hearts.
We will hate, harm, fight, deceive, gossip, slander, and be rude, prideful, and boastful.
We will lack mercy and be heartless towards others.
We will disobey authority.
We confess that we have done these things, and with deep regret, we repent of our many sins.
Enable us to truly repent, receive Your grace, and honor and obey You.
Give us faith to believe the gospel and live according to it.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
